CAP Coach Tools is a range of additional tools and resources available exclusively to CAP Money Coaches to streamline course administration and enhance the way that you run the CAP Money Course. They include downloads from this web site and an extension for Chromium-based web browsers, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Vivaldi, Opera and Brave.
In order to access the CAP Coach Tools and to unlock more information about them you’ll need to register on this site, which is free, and then log in.
What’s currently available?
CAP Coach Tools Browser Extension
The CAP Coach Tools browser extension, that integrates with, and enhances the coach functionality on, the CAP Money web site:
- Document Templates (PDF), directly downloadable from the course delegate list, watermarked with the delegate details such as name and email address, co-branded with your church branding, and including other church, course, coach and delegate information
- Email Templates that can be built and tailored by coaches and churches for streamlined communication with delegates as a group or individually, with the ability to attach customised template Documents and include other church, course, coach and delegate information as well links to add the course to calendars
- Model Budgets that can be loaded into the budget worksheet (overwriting what’s already there), including the default budget (like a factory reset), a blank budget and Tim and Jane’s budget from the related case study
- Export to Excel spreadsheet functionality for course and delegate lists
- Courses List enhancements including course statistics and the ability to hide old courses
- Delegates List enhancements including pre-filling a Delegate Registration and Attendance form, filtering the delegate list for exports and group emails, accessing Document and Email Templates and turning delegate email addresses into links
- Other Streamlining of course administration such as registering a new CAP Money Course and confirming delegate attendance at a course
- Minor formatting corrections on a number of pages
Online Content
Downloads and functionality available to registered users of this site:
- an Excel Budget Spreadsheet implementation of the budget worksheet, including all formulae
- a PDF form version of the Delegate Registration and Attendance form
- a Welcome Screen that randomly displays interesting money quotes that can be used before, during or after face-to-face or online course sessions, with your church branding
- a Money Quiz (10 questions) that can be used as an ice-breaker during the Introduction module in face-to-face or online courses, with your church branding – including an answer sheet with explanations and references
- a Which Account activity that helps you illustrate which CAP account expenses might be allocated to when presenting the Money System module, with your church branding
- an interactive chalk board to record Cash vs Card pros and cons as an interactive activity when presenting the Using Cash module, with your church branding
- Profile Management allowing coaches to maintain church and coach information (used in Document and Email Templates in the Browser Extension) and to build and maintain custom Email Templates
- Subtitles/captions for the CAP course videos to assist delegates with hearing issues and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
